Quote from Goethe

From “The Happiness Project”:

“I have come to the frightening conclusion that I am the decisive element. It is my personal approach that creates the climate. It is my daily mood that makes the weather. I possess tremendous power to make life miserable or joyous. I can be a tool of torture or an instrument of inspiration, I can humiliate or humor, hurt or heal. In all situations, it is my response that decides…”
Goethe

Very powerful and true statement.

One-to-one relationships

It is very important to have one-to-one relationships with your associations, especially with immediate family members. Of course, everyone will share close bonding and discuss ideas “together”, but it is healthy to share things one-on-one as well. It is also necessary to keep these one-to-one relations independent of other associations.

This kind of framework nurtures the attachment and sentiments that everyone has for each other. It is like making the tree grow strong by taking care of every root.

Thanks to my wife for discussing this thought with me.
